I haven't activated windows yet not sure if that affects it:

Basicly I downloaded the audio drivers from the intel site for my mother board and I installed them and I am getting no sound. Intel 82801DB ICH4 - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-0] Onboard and I can't figure it out. Thanks again for your time. Oh and also what should I do with the old drivers installed. As in how to go about removing them before or after? I install what you tell me. Getting ahead of myself lol. Thanks!!!!

I tried device manager and update the drivers.

Multimedia Audio Controller (Has Yellow ! and I updated it but the driver from realtek is not signed I got blue screened after going with it anyway.) I read some older posts with similiar systems and I downloaded. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

and it did not work gave me the same blue screen. I tried wdm3516b_Cadenza which I got from intel dl section for my mother board and that didn't work and realtek didn't work. I need sound.
