Generic television

My monitor type, as stated in DirectX dialog box (dxdiag>Display) is "Plug And Play Monitor". How do I get my monitor model to be a "Generic Television" type? Do I need drivers for this? If so where can i get them?

I basically want to connect my laptop to my TV via S-Video. I have the necessary ports and the cables.

My system spec:
Lenovo Y500 Series
Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset (ver: 6.14.10.4543)
Windows Xp Professional (5.1,Build 2600) w Service Pack 2
DirectX 9.c(4.09.0000.0904)

To view my dxdiag click here...

Also what is the meaning of WHQL Logo'd?
