HELP!!! Intel 82801DBM AC'97 Audio Controller With QUANTA MOTHERBOARD

Hello,

I formatted my laptop so I don't have sound anymore. I downloaded EVEREST to get the system report, but i can't seem to find any website where i can download the motherboard manufacturer driver, which is QUANTA EW2.

Report had some of the following:

Motherboard:
CPU Type Mobile Intel Pentium M 725, 1600 MHz (16 x 100)
Motherboard Name QUANTA EW2
Motherboard Chipset Intel Montara-GM i855GM
BIOS Type Phoenix (04/01/04)

Display:
Video Adapter Intel Extreme Graphics 2
3D Accelerator Intel Extreme Graphics 2

Multimedia:
Audio Adapter Intel 82801DBM ICH4-M - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-1]

PLS HELP. I'd appreciate it. thx a mil.

Looks like a Clevo notebook, whats on the label under the notebook

Well I'm not sure what label you're talking about coz there's 3 of 'em, but here they are:

1. G200N series, EW2 (I'm guessing this is the QUANTA)
2. Intel WM3B2100, Conexant RD01-D620
3. Windows XP Home Edition... (Although when i formatted, I did with XP Professional)...

And it's a Sahara notebook.

It is indeed a quanta and you'll find every driver you'll ever need in an australian site.
