Issues with Multimedia Audio Controller (Unable to install drivers)

Hello, I have windows xp service pack 2.. Idk y i cannot get my sound to work.. It started off when i deleted my windows partition by mistake (lol don't ask) and I reinstalled windows.. the thing is.. It found the new hardware u know the multimedia audio controller Windows update couldn't find the driver.

So I basically came across a few things.. I tried to go to the manufacturers website. (The computer is an elitegroup w622) and was unable to find any drivers that actually worked. But from what i noticed. Realtek drivers attempt to install but I get a blue screen the restart.. and Vinyl installs, but it plays no sound.. Even though it appears that sound is playing on the system. So i'm rather stumped. Heres my info on my comp (if it helps)

As far as device manager.. i have an exclamation point ontop of multimedia audio controller, and one over pci modem? I also don't have a UAA high definition bus driver controller in system devices.. Also, I have installed the chipset drivers from the intel website. But if u want to relink me on anything i'm more than willing to give things another shot
