Detonator FX

Hey

I have a small questions...!

I currently have an ELSA GeForce 3 TI500 Morpheus 128mb

it cost me alot of money a few months back my benchmarks on 3Dmark2k3 are massive alot higher than the GeForce 4 TI4600 but thats not my questions really...

The question is nVidia release the detonator drivers to increase the speed of the chipset...!

So my question is...

Detonator FX will that be fine to use for my Morpheus or is it only for the GeForce FX cards???

Thanks for your time

I think nVidia kicks hiney, but I don't buy the hype about how their drivers will make every card faster on every new release. I am almost positive that even though it is called a "unified driver", It has to have bits and pieces that pertain to certain cards. And if this is true, then that would mean that it would be possible for the new drivers to affect the performance of one card, or a group of cards, and have no impact on others. Not to downplay nVidia's work on their drivers, or the importance of using the latest drivers, but I don't expect the newest drivers to make my card any better, unless it is a newest generation card.
