Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

i have put the driver on and nothing i have done all that been into sound and everything is grey i have been into admin tools and thats set right i have been into device manger and there aint no yellow ticks i rest my bios and saved i have got a on board sound and they are at the bottom away from where i plug me mouse in please help i am pulling me hair out now

Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section
Open Everest - expand Computer - select Summary - select Report - Quick Report - HTML . The report opens, using mouse hold the left button and starting at all above Debug-PCI - highlight all the text - when highlighted right lick mouse - select Copy.
It should give the sound card

still no audio all the boxers are still grey i have cheaked in contol pannel / admin tool / component services and it is on automatic is there anything else i can do please

As soon as you power up the comp press the <DEL> key
