Sound Driver not reconizing sound device
i had reformatted my computer a few months back. after that i have no sound on my computer. I have tried everything that you people have mentioned at the forum but no avail. the soundmax driver just reports that it doesn't support my hardware. i have a slow connection so i cannot download a big file so no belrac report. Anyways my specs are
MB: Asus p5gl-mx
Os: windows xp pro sp2
onboard sound
256 mb of ram.
i have tried many drivers like ac97 and soundmax but none worked. please help me as many of my softwares and games doesn't work without sound. if you want a belrac or everest report i will try to get it for you.
