i just installed apanasonic cw7586b model cdr/rw but it won't work i think i am missing the driver anybody know where i can download it from help please

you are not missing a driver as cd/rw are plug and play, have you got a cd rom also?? how have you set it up did you put it on the same ribbon as the one attached to the cd rom also have you made sure you have jumpers at the back of the cd/rw set to slave if you have a cd rom that is and it is set as master.
