No audio output device is installed

hi,

please help, i have no sound and cannot get it workin. i have been looking at forums and fiddling for hours.

i have windows vista and i think i uninstalled conexant hd audio by accident.

when i try to download it again, it says cannot find media device.

can anyone help? i would be very greatful

need the make and model of your comp, if not sure Get Belarc, copy and paste the report, omit the Software section, it gives Product Codes for your OS and the Windows Critical Updates.
