cannot find multimedia audio controller

It was enabled so I disabled, re installed the driver, and enabled it again and still nothing no sound, when I open Itunes it also says something about my audio configuration.

I also recently formatted my harddrive,multimedia audio driver has the yellow question mark.

Plug & Play checking Device Manager

Right click My Computer / Properties / Hardware tab / Device Manager / expand System Devices / is the Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator listed

Right click My Computer / Properties / Hardware tab / Device Manager / expand System Devices / is the Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator listed
When I right click My Computer I dont see a Properties panel, and also the sound max icon I have says: "No SoundMax audio present, You cannot use the SoundMax control panel."

Try a System File Check go to Run – type “sfc /scannow” (without the quotes and note space after sfc) have Win disc available in case sfc needs to replace or repair any files. The program runs with no alerts and then closes.
