No sound - problem with Multimedia Audio Controller

My computer has no sound. When I start it, the Found New Hardware wizard asks me if I want to install the software for Multimedia Audio Controller. I searched this forum last week and tried installing the ADI 198x Integrated Audio Driver (Dell R94481.exe), but I received an error message that says "The audio driver files do not support your computer hardware." The following are my system specifications according to Belarc:
