Missing Usb Controller

I just reformatted my dads computer because it had a virus and was beyond repair so I just cleaned it all up. But now when I plug something into the USB port the plug and play does not come up. I have looked at the device manager and notice that there is no USB controller. I only say this because I compared it with my computer which does have a USB CONTROLLER. I don't know if this is the problem or if it is something else but can anyone point me to the right direction? Will provide specs from Belarc.

USB is included in XP SP2
Try a System File Check go to Run – type “sfc /scannow” (without the quotes and note space after sfc) have Win disc available in case sfc needs to replace or repair any files. The program runs with no alerts and then closes.

it's not showing the motherboard Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section

Open Everest - expand Computer - select Summary - select Report - Quick Report - HTML . The report opens, using mouse hold the left button and starting at all above Debug-PCI - highlight all the text - when highlighted right click mouse - select Copy
Then open post – right click mouse – select Paste and the report will insert.

Ok, the obvious things. This is on board USB and the bios has it enabled?
Also, in device manager, what is the computer type?

all commands in the BIOS are done on the keyboard, arrow keys to select

to enter BIOS press the <Del> key as soon as comp boots, you will see this menu - click image to focus
http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...A3%20Setup.JPG

down arrow key to Integrated Peripherals - press Enter
http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...rg%20Perph.JPG

press F10 to Exit & Save changes

y to accept changes

crap I hate to ask for more help but I need it. When I opened up the BIOS I had to enable all USB and now when the computer starts up two messages pop up. One saying port 4-7 not found or something like that, and another one saying that USB 2.0 would be better and would work faster, anyways to make that message go away?

ya I don't mean that. I guess I enabled all USB when there was only 2. So I fixed that message but I still don't know how to fix the "you should upgrade to USB 2.0 for better quality" I try to clicking it in Device manager and updating driver but it says no better one found.
