Im reasonably new on this forum too, but i should imagine that if the file has only been deleted from control panel then you may be able to perform a system restore in order to retreive soundMAX.

Click: Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore

And there should be a restore date set some time before you deleted soundMAX...

If this doesn't work I belive that you would need to download the SoundMAX driver for your motherboard.

Ill have a look and see if i can find the driver but i cant promise ill find it as i have exams at the moment and should really be revising lol.

Hope this helps.

I belive that this is the audio driver your looking for.

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/suppor...D=en-us0000289

If you go on that website and click download ... then open the program when its finished downloading and your audio driver should work again.

Hope this helps
