Missing drivers for "Other PCI Bridge Device" and "SM Bus Controller", along with 2..

unkown devices and a Video controller.

My primary problem is that my computer won't recognize my ether cable; preventing me from connecting to the internet. I rebooted windows a few months ago and switched to a wireless adapter so i wasn't aware of my ethernet adapter coming to a halt... however, i don't have wireless internet anymore.

Your mainboard drivers need installing to fix the SMbus controller. Specifically, the chipset driver. Get all needed stuff here:

That did the job.

while that is much appreciated, i was wondering if you can help me with one more problem.

my dvd-rom isn't playing dvds.
a box comes up saying-
Windows Media Player is currently unable to play DVD video. Try decreasing the number of colors displayed on your monitor or decreasing the screen resolution. For additional solutions, click More Information to access the DVD Troubleshooter.

i'm assuming this has to do with a missing dvd decoder or driver being that the only other problems i've had since i rebooted have been driver problems.
