My Video Controller won't take any drivers...

hey, when i go to the controll panel i see a little exclamation mark on the video controller. i think that that means that the drivers needed 2 be reinstalled. i tried reinstalling them but it didnt work. it said that the drivers could not be found. i put a disc in the computer that was supposed 2 be containing the drivers. that didnt work either. i tried downloading other drivers from the internet but i can't find the right one. im not sure what kind of video controller i have because im not really a computer guy. this is just a problem that occured eversince the computer crashed and we had 2 reinstall windows or somethin like that. plz help i miss playing my games alot!
