I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RS710G (Motherboard: ASUS P4SD-VL desktop computer. I have stumbled across an audio driver error. When I go to the Device Manager, "Multimedia Audio Controller" is there with a yellow exclaimation mark.
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver. Sometimes, about 3/4 of the installation, my computer would automatically restart and then boot back into Windows saying that my computer just recovered from a serious error.
I've also tried installing the chipset before the audio driver and I don't understand what's going on. I never stumbled across this problem before.
EDIT: I uninstalled the audio driver and then started again. I installed the chipset and then tried the audio driver again. It didn't restart on me but I got this:
