i couldnt get the us one to work either, the frankfurt one downloaded but it didnt work, still no sound... so i tried to open the files and it said they were broken files so i tried the process of downloading and reseting again with no luck, thankyou for your help though because i am just lost. lol

new info, i went to control panel> system> audio,video,game ect. > clicked on each one in audio and it said the they were all working properly, i think my problem lies with multimedia audio controller because i have none anymore although i will be probably wrong, dont know why probably a virus. i also have no install discs at all any help will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

forget to say,look in device manager and uninstall any drivers with a yellow ? first,before you download anything then restart pc.
