need a AC sound

can anyone help me on this i install the xp pro it seems i didnt get sound my motherboard is intel d865gbf my intergated sound is foxconn i did get to put a sound max but it says no sound i tryed to download ac97 but i keep getting that the driver did not pass so if theres anyone out there that can help me i would be plzz thanks

Don't worry about getting the "driver has not passed......" message. Hundreds of such drivers are in use. Microsoft simply hasn't got round to testing them all -- it doesn't mean the driver won't work (unless it's the wrong one for the device, of course). Just choose "Install anyway".

The correct driver direct from Intel for your board is item 5 under "Drivers"
