Your PC's motherboard is an MSI MS-6380
Some of these have on-board (integrated) sound chip and some do not (depending on actual version number). Those taht do not have on-board sound use instead a PCI soundcard purchased separately by the user. My mobo is also MSI-6380 and does have on-board sound (though I've disabled it in favour of my own card)

To check if your's has integrated sound-chip, go here and use the "Live Update Online" where compatible drivers will be offered to you. If those offered do not include a sound driver your PC evidently does not have on-board sound and uses a separate PCI soundcard. You will have to remove this card to determine it's make/model then go the maker's website. Either that or buy a new soundcard which is supplied with it's own driver.

these drivers only work if your audio plugs are on the I/O plate - click image to focus http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...0io%20slot.JPG

3 versions of this board 2 with Via AC'97 and 1 with Realtek, you will need to try both drivers
Realtek http://asia.msi.com.tw/index.php?fun...=1&prod_no=497

Via driver http://asia.msi.com.tw/index.php?fun...=1&prod_no=273

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
