Sound Driver ICH5 820801EB AC'97 Audio Controller

Hey guys, I recently formatted my computer and here is my everest report I have generated, I really badly need this sound driver and I will be ever so grateful if I can get it, I have already tired the A4.06 driver and the A3.86 driver from Realtek both when installing make my computer freeze and restart.

I have a IBM Thinkcentre but I am unable at the moment to find out my model number I am sorry about that.

copt n paste the the report here,it should show more details of your pc,motherboard etc.have you looked in device manager to see if you have yellow ? marks on audio controllers,if you have right click on and uninstall the drivers there whilst connected to the net and restart pc,wizard should ask to find drivers when pc boots up,go for it its worked for me before,if it fails post the belarc report so folk can see more details,im off to work so good luck.

yea just tried that and got the blue screen of death xD my Multimedia Audio Controller had the yellow mark next to it.

blue screen,sounds bad,idd run virus/spyware scans for a start, in safe mode,and start from scratch with the sound prob.by the way ,you should always create a restore point before downloading a driver of any sort,ive jus googled your pc.. look.. http://compreviews.about.com/cs/desk...BMTCentM50.htm

there are 2 versions of the Soundmax audio and also a Sound Blaster sound card audio,

as you have done a reformat it may be better to remove the realtek drivers or Restore to before you installed, and install the Intel Chipset driver - Restart comp - then install soundmax audio - link below

Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
