Suddenly I have no sound - Windows XP!

Hi, For some reason I have no sound from my PC. I would appreicate if someone could throw some light on this. I ran Belarc Advisor and this is what I got:

Your system info shows two different sound devices, one is 'Realtek AC97' and the other is 'Creative SoundBlaster Audigy'. The Realtek device will most likely be the "on board" one (integrated), and the SoundBlaster I assume is a PCI sound card. If that is so, the on-board one (Realtek) should have been disabled manually in the BIOS settings when the SoundBlaster card was installed. However, from my end I can only guess which of the two is the one you want to use.

There are several models of the Audigy sound card. Your Belarc report does not give the exact model so I can't lead you to the exact page.
Click on the link "If your product is not listed" and a full list of Audigy models will appear. You will have to physically examine the card for any identification labels if you don't know what model it is.
