Please Help! Missing files = NO SOUND.

I have no sound from connected speakers, to the computer's speakers. I'm very confused. It said my Multimedia Audio Controller was wack, so I tried to uninstall it and reinstall a driver, but when doing so it said that the file ksuser.dll is required from Microsoft Service Pack 2 CD (which I happen to not have). Please help.

Multimedia Audio Controller:

Device Status
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
--I DID THIS and the file ksuser.dll is required. I do not have the CDs. Please help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The serial number and model number Belarc listed are not what Gateway seems to want. You can go to the link below and put in the serial number from the sticker on your machine or click browse all downloads selecting type, model OS and so on to find the correct audio driver for your machine.http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/dlcenter.asp
