also im thinking about formatting his drive since there's nothing on this computer anyway. and because its vry slow for a computer using only 6% of its harddrive with a 1.8ghz processor and 1gig memory...
is this a good idea?
he doesnt have the cd for windows xp so how do i go about doing this or do i even need the disc? because on my computer in the past i've reformated like 5 times due to virus' and just problems and if i remember correctly i needed the windows disc

onboard audio is Realtek ALC655 - driver here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...tDown=false#AC

this driver will only work if your audio plugs are one the I/O plate – see here – click image to focus

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
