No sound on Gateway 500x after XP re-install
My computer wasn't taking the Microsoft security patch 3. Told that I had a virus by a technician so I did a complete system restore only to then figure out that I was missing one of the gateway disks, the one with drivers. I've gotten most of the problems solved but I still don't have sound. I tried the soundmax driver but that hasn't solved the problem. I just ran Belarc and I'm hoping for some help. Also looking for a driver for the zip drive installed. Thanks
