Need help after reinstalling XP

[HB needs HELP]

I see I am not the only one with the problem but after reading what everyone else has posted, I seemed to have confused myself even more.

I have an Intel D915GEV board. Under my device manager I have missing the Ethernet Controller, PCI Device and Interface Controller.

I have downloaded the update for my Intel board and will do the update when I get home this evening. But I am curious if that will fix the ethernet controller, PCI device and interface controller issues.

Here are the numbers that I got from the device manager:
Ethernet controller - PCI\VEN_11AB and DEV_4361 and REV_17
PCI device - VEN_8086\DEV_2668 and Subsys_E2008086
Interface Controller - 82801FB Interface Controller ACPT\IFX010\1

I am very frustrated! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have found the download for the Marvell Yukon. But I cant find the update for the Intel 82801FB ICH6. Anyone help me PLEAASEEEE!!!!!

YIPPPPPPPPPPPPIE!!! i finally got my internet back...I was so relieved after I ran the setup.exe and I saw the pop up in the corner that said my network cable was unplugged.

I still dont have any sound but I fixed this one so hopefully I fix that problem too.

would still appreciate any guidance on finding my soundcard driver update if anyone knows it off the top of their head, perhaps.
