your C-Media audio driver is here at MSI http://asia.msi.com/index.php?func=d...=1&prod_no=502

Set a System Restore Point before installing driver just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions

I downloaded and installed the driver from the site you gave me, but it still doesn't work. I also don't have my volume control button on the toolbar. It says "There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware. This program will now close."

I followed the instructions in the error message, but Windows can't find the driver.

check this out

Start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Component Services / a separate window will open – in left pane click Services(Local) from the tree / Scroll down to Windows Audio service / if the service is Disabled or Manual right click > select Properties > under Startup Type change to Automatic > click Apply / click Start > OK Reboot
