Problems with HP all-in-one 6110

I have distinctive ring (ring master) on my line because I can't get a second line for my fax (BellSucks said). My fax machine cnstantly picks up my voice calls, and at time wont pick up my faxes. I know I have my fax machine set properly...and this problem only happens on occation (like when it's raining for a few days!!) Then it always fixes itself. HP says its the phone co., and vise versa.

I have been to the HP site and attempted to sownload a patch, but it said it can't find equiptment that would benefit from it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

To loose again!

Hey again...thank for all your help!

I am running the re-boot now on the other issue.

That link you sent is the one that I have already been to and it's the one that eventually led me to not being able to download a fix. Any other ideas?

If you can positively say the All in One is OK

Then here in the UK we would tell the telco provider that they don't get paid until they have a proper line working.

Or that you will be moving provider to someone who can give better service.

yea, unfortunately, BellSuck over here monopolizes this area, and leaving them would be shooting myself in the foot.

Should I run a virus scan on the laptop even though Norton said it was ok?

Try one of the online ones such as Trend or Panda (thanks to Beeboy for the info)
