Power supply for Astra 610P Scanner

I just picked up an Astra 610P (Umax). It does not have the power supply.. I can probably get one for it. Can anyone tell me how many Volts and Amps it produces(output)?

Look on the back of the scanner where the power lead plugs in.

I found out that it's 12V @ 1A. What I need to know now is whether it is a positive or negative center.
If you have this info, would you please post it?
