Webcam problems

I think this is driver related
Well anyways, I just plugged the cam in (xp plug n play) and it works ok.
I use it for MSN messenger. Well it works flawlessly for about 5 minutes then it starts getting REALLY choppy, until the point where the frame doesnt change after about 15 seconds. At this point msn basicly crashes and I cannot restart because some dll is hung (rundll32 I suspect).

Anyways, where can I get any drivers and such that will *hopefully* fix it.
The cam came with software but its not for windows xp, plus it sucks and freezes and totally screws up the comp that its installed on.

What brand name of Camera that ?

I would imagine that your software has memory leak, but what I don't understand is why does the XP kernal would allow the software to lock up the system ????
