Toshiba Dynabook keyboard problem

Hello all;
I am having toshiba dynabook laptop, and windows xp licenced os is running on it. which is also recommended from the vendor. earlier it was working nicely. but now days my laptop keyboard is not in my controll. when i started my work after 10 minutes, the keyboard behave wrongly, like if i will press "s" it will ask to save my file, if i will press p it will ask to print my file..etc..etc...its seems like when i pressed any key the controll key automatically pressed.
even i have re-installed three time but the problem is still there. i have also installed the linux but got the same problem in linux environment....
could any body help me to kill the problem...
still i am not much sure about that, is it a hardware problem or software problem..
I am waiting for your valuable advice
thanks & regards

I think the Control (Ctrl) Key on your keyboard is stuck down.

Just confirm by pressing 'a' to see if all components in an open window are selected.

Try connecting a normal keyboard to the laptop.

it has nothing to do with you OS it sounds like the keyboard itself is at fault?. do you ahve warrenty on it? because the only way it will be fixxed is if you ahve the keyboard looked at i think!. can you plug a keyboard into it if you can you will see that it will work fine and that ay you wil have your answer if it is the keyboard. the keys on the laptop need to be lookd at sounds like you say control key is set as in use at all times.
