???Missing Driver???

When I reboot my computer, I always get this message: Direct CD, Roxio, has a driver installed that can cause instabillity problems. The driver has been disabled. It don't tell me what driver or anything. It gives me an available patch: http://www.roxio.com/en/jhtml/xpupda...cation=update.
I can find nothing to assist me with this problem. If anyone else can, I would be forever grateful.... Deana

windows xp and roxio easy cd creator have some incompatibility issues, especially roxio versions 4 and 5. if this is the cd burning program you use, you need to uninstall it from the control panel, or it will mess up your operating system. the easiest thing to do is just go to microsoft and update to windows media player 9, itll burn your cds, and with the right codecs, you can burn movies too. screw roxio.
