Display Driver.

This might sound stupid but, I dont know much about my PC yet. A display driver of Intel is installed in my PC, when I upgraded my Direct X 9, Direct 3d and Direct Draw do not work anymore. I suspect its because of my display adapter. Am I right if so how do I find a proper adapter.

It was working fine with DirctX 8.

When I reinstalled my default driver, windows warns me its not proper driver.

I have Windows ME.

go to your device manager, locate you display adapter. right click it, select remove. reboot it will go through the install process. it should find the drive you were using and reinstall it. if this does not fix you up, post the brand name and model number of the computer so someone can look up the correct display adapter so you can download it.
