E-mail newsletter reception

Had to remember my password and login just to get this said, because I received the "All new Software & Hardware Discussion Forum" e-mail as a registered member, despite I have disabled "Receive Email from Administrators" when registering. As I have opted out from receiving promotional messages like this, I concider it to be unsolicited e-mail, purely sent for marketing. I know, just one little message and I may have ages ago accepted some TOS that has a paragraph about the site ownership being allowed to send whatever e-mail they like, no matter how "spamish" it is.

I would very much appreciate if further mailings would be done according to the vB settings each user have. There has been at least a mod available for it, unless it was already added as feature in vB3 to only mail subscribed users. Please, don't send mailings like this, unless a member has chosen to do so or at least provide a way to say "no, thanks."

This is just a friendly wish. I'm not angry at you. Just abit annoyed.

Sorry!

Next time I'll un-tick the people who haven't subscribed.

PS: We only send 1 newsletter / year.
