It's ok for several hundred visitors to see a possible slew of expletives, or pron references because it may not happen any time soon? I don't understand your logic.
Site filter would still require a regular patrol regardless. The oblect is to stop the known ones and do what you can before your members possibly fall prey to stuff you should be avoiding.

Not even the same thing, though Gmail does a nice job of filtering for me, and you can
block all and every Hotmail spam if you just set up a whitelist. All unwanted mail is
filtered out.
Yahoo doesn't get near me, so i can't comment on them. I see that den as the worst possible.
