Game problems

I just reformatted my computer about 4 days ago and ever since then,whenever i play raven shield or counterstrike online my ping is horrible,before my ping would never hit above 100 but now, 100 is the lowest it can go on either game...i was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and has found a resolution to my problem...damn....i will never reformat ever again!!!

I doubt that reformatting your hard disk will have anything do with your ping over CS. I've recently reformatted my hard disk. But my ping was same as before formatting the drive.

What is your connection?

Behind router/hub?

Got settings correct?

Any firewall enlabeled?

Have you called your ISP to see what's going on? Maybe server is down or slow down for upgrades?

well..my internet connection is sbc yahoo dsl , im connected to a router and my setting are same as before and i am not behind a firewall

Got any of those antivirus programs? Those can really screw u up.
