HL problems in xp

Hello.

my computer:

pentuim 4 1.7 ghz
512 mb ram
geforce 4 mx420 (driver installed is detonator 40.72)

my problem:

When i play half life: counter-strike (MOD) on window xp, after playing the game for about 30 - 60 minutes the computer either crashes (ending up with blue screen) or the program crashes.


any idea to what is wrong here?

Nice problem. Don't know what's wrong but...

I had this problem, installed SP1 then everything was fine

i've installed sp1 already. but thanx anyway.

i took my comp to a technician and they said that my ram was what was causing the problem. so they replaced the 2x256 mb pc2100 m-tech ram with 2x256 pc2100 A-data ram.

anyone know what's the different between the two?
