Playstation Lens Problem

Hi Everybody!

I recently got a used Sony Playstation from gamestop and The laser lens works fine with some of my games, but not with others. However, the PS can read some info from the CD's that it cannot read from. I've tried laser lens cleaners with a special cleaning solution many times, but the lens still doesn't work with some games. I've also tried repairing the disks with "SkipDoctor", but that doesn't work, either. Does anybody have any other ways for me to clean the playstation's lens?

Yeah try them on another PS2 first. Theres ways to adjust teh laser, but it voids any warranty you have.

Actually, I bought my Playstation (1) used at gamestop, so my warranty isn't active.
About trying the game on another ps2, i'll try that tommorow and tell you guy's how it went.
Thanks for replying.

try if you can get on the other side of the lens. and clean it up there with some alcohol. that should take away all the dust on the backside of the lens. this worked for me
