Need help with Sims house party, Technical i think

Hey, I've had The original Sims and Livin' it up installed for a while, perfect no problems, the other night i installed hosue party too,

But when trying to upload house party after perfect installation , i open it, the blue screen saying ' The sims house party comes up, goes off as if to load and nothing comes up, nothing loads, just my desktop.

I've left it on for hours just to see.anyways, i've uninstalled it and then re-installed it and still isnt wokring and doing the same.

Can somebody help me please I would be very grateful
