lotr rotk help

trying to run lotr rotk but keep on getting this message.
Cannot find any compatable direct 3d devices with the required capabilities. make sur you have the current drivers for your vidio card.
i have installed current drivers ran dxdiag it says everything is working and compatable with d3d but the game still wont work. sombody please help me i am going crazy

Do you have a video card that supports T&L (Texture & Lighting)? Many of today's games require that, and if you don't have it you plain old can't run it.
I'm not so sure how to check whether you have it or not, though. :S
