Which Nvidia?

Hi guys, right now im planning on getting a nvidia 6600gt. But i dunno if it will work on my computer? ANd whats the diff between the 6600gt and the xfx6600gt?

Hers my Computer specs:
BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2800+, MMX, 3DNow
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Windows Xp Pro
DirectX 9.0c

Will both of those cards work on my comp>?

At the same site - check out Motherboards as PCI Express is only something available on the latest Intel (after P4) and Athlon 64 chipsets - you'd need a new mobo to use it.

Ask those guys what else you might do to beef up your system - as merely putting in a new vid. card will possibly only means there's a bottleneck elsewhere in your system - ie slow HD, insufficient ram, weak power supply etc.
