graphic problems while gaming~

Hi guys,i have face a problem whenever i wanted to play a 3d Game : Counterstrike,raganok online or rose online.I believe nvidia geforce4 ti 4600 graphics card should be enough to play these games.

When i played counterstrike,it will freeze for a long time,n then it move 1 step and it will freeze again.Whenever i come to the login page for these games,it will become very jerky.And leaving no chance to type even a word in a game.

I dont have any problems when i play 2D games,play a movie on my comps.
I tried updating drivers for my video card,removing the older driver version beforce installing the new video card driver.It still does not help.
So i hope if there is any experts out here that can provide me with some solutions for the above question?thks.

FYI: Currently using : pentium 4, 2.53GHZ
512Mb RAM
Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti 4600
Santa Cruz Sound card.

Sounds like a internet connection problem to me. I don't think it could be a video card problem. But anyways anything can happen.

Make sure your BIOS setting is fine. Go and make sure the video card is seated in the AGP slot properly.

At first i thought that you have too many processes or too many programs running, but that would affect your 2d games and movie playing also. But give it a try anyways, push ctrl+alt+del and go to processes, now look up each of the processes' name and google them, see if they are needed or not. If they are needed, leave them alone, if they aren't needed, then end them.

Before playing cs, i usually end all the unnecessary processes so i wont have any problem while getting my m-m-m-monster kills

If it doesnt work, ill try to find out something else.

Ok, my guess is also that it is internet related, i'd suggest you get an online 2D game, try to play that over the net, if that fails then yeah, it looks like you've got an internet problem....
