World Of Warcraft DL Problem

I have tried to download world of warcraft on my computer but it never works. A little way through the install, it will freeze up. I though it might have been the cds, so i got another friends copy and it did the same thing. Another buddy of mine sent me the files via AIM and when i did the install for those, it did the exact same thing. I can DL other games like the battlefield series that I own plus others but only WoW will not install. Can anyone help me?

Does it freeze at the same point of installation? IE it freezes when i tries to install a certian file.

yes, when its downloading the terrain features.

I been playing WoW since its first release and I would like to suggest first, go to their website http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/

They are usually very quick about responding.

Also, you say you have your friends copy and that is doing the same thing? Is your computer spec'ed for gaming? What kind of system, what video card are you using, what operating system are you using and how much ram? World of Warcraft requires a lot of high end gear in order to run efficiently.

I have heard of a boot-leg protection that WoW has incorporated into their software to prevent hacking, hopefully your copies are clean?
