All Games Crash!!

I have a serious problem!!
first my spec list:

MSI K8 SLI (latest mobo drivers and latest bios version)
AMD FX55 factory clocked @2.6ghz (latest drivers)
Geforce 7800 GT 256mb PCIe (latest drivers)
2Gig Ram (2x1gbsticks PC2700)
SoundBlaster Audigy2 ZS (latest drivers)
Western Digital 160mb HDD SATA
Sony DVD:RW
Sony CD:RW
Sony FDD
Power Supply unsure, sticker says max output: 360w
Win XP Pro SP2

The problem: OK so just built this system, installed windows fine, everyting worked perfectly untill i decided i wanted to play some games, installed HL2 and all the basic games such as lost coast, using steam and they seem to crash at random intervals, unreal tournament 2003 does the same and so does BF2. cpu temp idle is around 43 degrees celcius and after the crash it goes up to around 58. tried removing both the sticks individually but the same thing happens so im confident its not the memory. lost coast sometimes can complete 1 full video stress test and tells me the average fps is 71.3 or near to that but when i run the same test immediately afterwards it crashes, never completes the second run, not always completes the first!
Any suggestions?

You're VGA card may be at fault, try and download a program, (sorry, unsure of the name for it) it gives your VGA card some hammer, and if it crashes during this test, you're card is not up to the test for the type of game you're playing.

It's the psu, 360W just aint going to cut it you need 450W+ for that system with (preferably) 18A+ on the 12v rail

Unbranded generic psu's rarely deliver the stated wattage, and the amps will probably be low.

Also your temps seem high, I'd reseat the cpu with arctic silver 5 (or any 99.9% silver based thermal compound)

Do you have good case ventilation?
