i have tried more than a few times over and over to load my sof1 and sof2 and have hit a dead end when the screen comes up and says that the opengl drivers need to be updated or something to that effect.

i tried to download the open gl stuff and have opened just about evry one that i could find and nothing has worked so far.

solution

click on the link below.
click on the program.
click on continue.
click on browse and select your desktop.
click on ok.
click ok to unzip.
then this box with nvidia should popup.
then just install.
after that you should have to restart.

p.s if you have an emulator the colors will change a little, but as far as soldiers of fortune goes everything should run smoothly. well here is the link.

http://www.filefactory.com/file/cfd374/n/TNTPXPA0_EXE

go to the page. on the bottom it should say download with filefactory basic click on that.
enter the code.download it.

this program is not mine i give all credit to original creator.

serious Sam had open gl driver and that is older than 4 years old and I still play it,lol.so what if there is SOF2 and more advanced games out today its still a pertinent and relevant question for those that like to play good early high speed games as well as UT,Nexuiz and quake,Doom etc.
Would have liked ATI card link as well as Nvidia but there you go,works alright on my windows partition dual booted with my trusty Linux.
