Xbox Live help

I'm having trouble joining xbox live. I'm using a wireless connection, and I have a Linksys wireless router. I fill out all the required fields to join the go to the terms of use screen. As soon as I click accept, though, the screen freezes. Does anyone know what the problem is?

do the reg wired not wireless. i wouldnt recommend using wireless for gaming on the xbox,, you get lots of disconects and a lot of lag. i no its stupid,,you would think it would be ok,, but thats the case.

I already have the wireless, and I would need an extremely long cord my parents wouldn't allow to do it. But I solved my problem, I simply made an account on xbox.com and transfered it. And I'm not experiencing lag at all.
