TP-Link Modem cant connect to xbox live wireless adapter
I have a tp-link router model# TL-WR542G. I recently just bought a wireless adapter for xbox live. Now the xbox360 is able to connect to the xbox just fine, yet when I go to test my xbox live it doesn't get past the second test which is network connection. I have spent 3 hours with xbox tech support and they got nothing for me...
Some details...
-The light remains red on my adapter (not blinking)
- It connects just fine if I directly connect it to one of the ports (not using the adapter but just connecting to the router)
- The internet connection is pretty strong (4 bars)
I would like some help if any of you know what to do
