dont know about browserbased (not sure what you mean) but a great free game is MapleStory...

Not browser based.... Browser based means NO DOWNLOAD (for all you idiots)
Magicduel bored me because its mostly text based. Fantasy online doesn't log in. Unfortunatly, most free browser based MMORPG's are either Text-Based, has terrible graphics, laggs, or is small because its still in developement. Try getting something with a small download, like Dofus (sorry, no link) its got a different skill setup than Runescape (its mostly stats) Job skill, killing monsters, PvP, and quests. and its download is under 100 MB, menaning even my junky computer can run it

it is hard to find a good browser game so if i was you i would go for a downloadable. I highly recommend Rappelz at http://rappelz.gpotato.com. It has quests skills and lots more

dead frontier is a browser based zombie mmorpg thats free you can lvl up buy weapons meds food do missions loot 100s of buildings in the city use forum play pvp create your own outposts in the city no AI merchants only player to player no trading item for item you use cash(NOT REAL CASH, IN GAME CASH) ITS THE BEST GAME ONLINE OUT OF ALL DOWN LOADABLE AND NON DOWNLOADABLE GAMES
Great Graphics and they dont slow gameplay its all i play and my computers a piece of crap Its not text based
