Why start as a lvl 3 in Runescape

Why do you start Runescape as a lvl 3 whay not a lvl 1 like normal games would

Still though on most games u start as a level 0 and do the tutorial and become lvl 1. Plus trust me i have played more RPG's than most people alive!

i have played rs alot and it is because all your combat stats are 1 and it decides to start you at lvl 3 since all your combat stats are 1

Starting at lvl 3 is rubish,you can't kill anyone(well barely)

you can kill few things, but its also just to make it easier to get your lvls up. it doesnt actually take long to be honest...
