COD2 disaster !!!

My 7 year old son was banned from a particular COD2 server by what can only be described as an officious bully of an admin. Thing is, after repeated reasoned attempts by myself to have the ban lifted (I play on the server too) I've been blocked from even contacting them.

I'm getting a new BT Homehub shortly and wanted to know if this will change my IP address and give me a chance to get back on the server to at least reason with others there? That's presuming that the idiot in question has banned me/us by our IP address....

Any help and advice would be gratefully received.
