I have the Following specs

AMD 2200 + xp
1 gig 333 RD ram
60 gig hard drive
TI 4200 128 meg ram
new Via chipset
Abit KD7 M/brd
Realtec ALC50 on brd sound card
o.s xp home
latest nvida & soundcard drivers installed
processor patch from windows update site installed
sp 1 installed

Everytime I try to play the game I get the vidio setting box, no matter what i set this at the game crashes back to the desk top,

Ive tried using the latest patch, turning off norton internet security and virus checkers, even lowering the graphis in windows, but still no luck
Any body got any ideas

Firstly ensure that you have got the latest drivers for your Video & Sound cards.

Open Task Manager > Processes and close any processes that are not required for game play.

I have tried closing all unneeded tasks and I have the latest drivers but the game still will not load, have u any further suggestions

I Have already spotted that latest patch and have installed, still no luck Im afraid, have also contacted the game help desk, but they have only advised what you have, have sent them another e-mail and are awating another reply.
If you can think of anything else its much appeciated

Start > Run > dxdiag > OK

Use the Direct X Diagnostic Tools to check your Video & Sound systems (and anything else you want).

THANKS FOR ALL YOU HELP LOOSECHIPPINGS, i NOW HABVE THE GAME WORKING.
I HAD TO GO TO XSTREAMS IE REFORMATTING - REINSTALLING XP AND ALL DRIVERS, BUT IT NOW WORKS GREAT, NOT A BAD THING THOUGH AS THE SYSTEM WAS GETTING A LITTLE CLUTTERED
